A roll of lovely Fabriano Artistico arrived at the studio today. I could not resist enjoying some still life time with willow charcoal and soft Rembrandt pastels.
The sound on mark making on the surface of this 300gsm paper is so very alluring. Moving charcaol with my finger feeding the tooth on the paper and gently adding colour with the pastels provided a truly wonderful series of sounds and sensations. Extraordinary.
