The Bioregional project that has developed the Saltmarsh project has totally enthralled me. I have worked from gel prints of reed bed leaves to produce some linocuts. “Earth”prints using saltmarsh detritus to develop a range of Lino prints and drawings from a boat to create further additions to the range of prints.
Here I have used the fabulous drone footage that was part of the saltmarsh survey and I relished the opportunity to abstract a little and find some marks.
I am using a small studio based hand press and water based inks.
I have added some extra images here to let you see my simple process.
On this print I have used Kozo select paper from the Japanese Awagami factory and I am very happy with the outcome.
