Templemeads Crane

As part of a process to create a cityscape composition.. I am drawing large drawings from my six small sketches. The drawings will allow me make compostion featuring elements of the drawings as they overlap and under lap and look at the scene from changing vanatge points.

Amidst a hazy landscape, a towering crane looms with an air of industrious tension. The structure’s angular form contrasts with the fluidity of the soft pastels and muted tones of the surrounding scenery. The strokes of color – from the earthy browns of the ground to the soft blues and greens of the trees – create a tactile experience.
