This is a path that I often walk throughout the year, stopping to draw as I go. There are several good spots to sit which provide a good source of pigment to draw with. I love to start these little drawings with gestural marks using site specific pigment.
Throughout the year I am taken by the variety of wild life. On this particular occasion it was the drumming of a pair of greater spotted woodpeckers that grabbed.
