Immerse yourself in the intricate, flowing patterns of this compelling artwork. The turquoise lines weave a complex arrangement of organic, almost aquatic forms, suggesting layers and movement. Each stroke appears meticulously planned yet fluid, creating a textured maze that entices closer inspection. The distinctive stylistic approach shines through in the continuous lines that ripple across the surface, reminiscent of the graceful contours found in nature. The nuanced balance between color and negative space emphasizes the subtle details within the composition, engaging viewers with its complexities. This piece inspires a shift in perspective, urging one to find new meaning in the delicate intricacies of line and form.

The Bioregional project that has developed the Saltmarsh project has totally enthralled me. I have worked from gel prints of reed bed leaves to produce some linocuts. In these prints I worked from earth prints using Saltmarsh detritus. I am using a small studio based hand press and Schmincke water based inks. The mounts are of archival quality in birch wood white.

I have added some extra images here to let you see my simple process.

On this print I have used Bunkos-hi  select paper from the Japanese Awagami factory and I am very happy with the outcome.
