Longmarsh across to Sharpham

The view form Longmarsh in Totnes across the River Dart looking toward the Sharpham Estate. This is on Bristol White board and the use of sheet music adds a middle…no pun intended!  The rhythm of the trees on the far bank jump across fields towards the hills in the background. The combination of tones textures with gestural charcoal marks makes an energetic piece.

The saltmarsh at the end of Longmarsh on the lower left part of the work and the Napoleonic wall banking the river on the opposite bank.
